           WHY WE LOVE AEPHI

Picture
Simply said, because AEPhi is the big, crazy family I never had!

I love AEPhi because not only do I get to hang out with 50 of my best friends, but I am also really pushed and inspired around these group of girls. They are not only such devoted fantastic friends, but they are also so talented at all their respective fields. I love walking around Emerson and seeing their faces on TV or fashion magazines, plays, concerts, sports games, dance shows, and so much more. These are the girls on campus that you want to be like and be friends with. In addition to such amazing talented people, they are also the best friends I could have ever asked for.

I am so happy that I decided to rush AEPhi my freshman year! I have never met such beautiful, talented, and supportive people in my life. Not only are these girls my best friends, but they're truly my sisters. If I needed anything, I know that any one of them would be there for me in a second. And if they needed anything, I would do the exact same.

AEPhi is the best last minute decision I ever made.  I never thought I would be in a sorority, but now I can't imagine my life without it.  Through AEPhi I found a group of girls who I would do anything for, and who would do anything for me.  There is nothing more comforting than knowing that no matter what life throws at you, your sisters will be there for you at the drop of a hat.  I love AEPhi because it provided me with some of my dearest, most priceless relationships.  I know those relationships will continue on well past my time at Emerson, because that's what sisterhood means.

I love AEPhi because it gave me the group of friends I had been longing to find in College. Being a transfer, it was hard to makes friends at a new school and AEPhi opened their arms to me and brought me not only a safe haven at my new school, but the best group of sisters a girl could ask for. Today, I finally found my tight group of friends and I feel so blessed to have each of them in my life. People say you go to college in search for your bridesmaids, but I found better, I found the most loving sisters.

So much of who we are as people is defined by our actions, our goals and the groups we identify ourselves with. AEPhi has played such a huge part in my college experience that I am proud to say that I am apart of it today! The high standards, support of my sisters, and just plain FUN I have through AEPhi is truly an irreplaceable experience I know will influence my life far beyond my four years at Emerson College!

I love AEPhi because I am so inspired by my sisters' accomplishments. They make me want to work harder and strive to meet my goals, no matter how many obstacles may stand in my way. I am truly honored to be part of such a successful and influential group of girls.

AEPhi has taught me so much about myself. Each girl in AEPhi inspires me in some way. We may not all be the same or have the same interests, but we all care so much about the sorority and so much about each other. AEPhi is my home a way from home. I have a bond with my sisters that I don't have with any other friend. I am constantly learning from each one of my sisters; I always have somebody to look up to and get advice from. Holding positions in the sorority has really helped me become a leader and realize that I can do anything I set my mind to. I always have a constant support system in whatever I do, which is an amazing feeling. My college experience would not be the same without AEPhi.

Besides the fact that AEPhi is a huge support system for me at Emerson, and the important relationships with my sisters that mean the world to me, I have ALWAYS loved AEPhi because I am a legacy! My Mom was in the UCLA AEPhi chapter when she was in college. I grew up going to the AEPhi sorority house, thinking of my mom's sorority sisters as my "second moms", and wanting so badly to be part of that sisterhood when I got to college (as cliché as it sounds!). AEPhi will always be a huge part of my life and maybe if I have a daughter, she will continue this tradition in my family! LML
