This semester we decided to honor a sister who has done amazing work over the entire semester, just not one particular week. There is no sister more deserving than our President Darian Harvin. Darian is always there for each and every sister whether you just want to chat, have a problem, or want to execute an idea. She runs AEPhi flawlessly every single day and always has a smile on her face. We each admire her so much for her strong leadership and dedication to the sorority as a whole and to the sisters. VP of Operations Shakala Alvaranga said, "Darian has done a remarkable job at being president of AEPhi and truly has exhibited what it means to be a PHI. Her work as president has helped AEPhi's reputation and that is why I think she is MORE than deserving of this award." Thank you for keeping us on our toes, loving each and every one of us, and being such a devoted president.Congratulations Darian!!
Many would agree, Jaclyn is that sister that is at every event, always with a smile, ready to have a good time, and always, always willing to lend a helping hand. Sisters totally appreciate everything Jaclyn brings to the table and we could not be more grateful. In early March, Jaclyn organized an event "Pink Hair for Hope," a hair dresser came to campus and anyone could get pink hair extensions for $10 with the proceeds going the American Cancer Society supporting breast cancer. Jaclyn put the event together flawlessly with a great turn out. Thank you for all you do, Jaclyn. Each and every sister appreciates all your hard work and your contagious smile. LML As VP of Finance Kayla keeps up totally grounded with everything involving money and we are so appreciative of all her hard work. Kayla keeps everyone on track and is always available to lend a helping hand. Finances of 60 sisters is a big responsibility and she conquers it no sweat. Thank you Kayla, for all you do. Sisters agree you are more than deserving of this title, so soak it up and just know how thankful we are of you! LML Congratulations to the Ribbons on the Runway committee for being our Sisters of the Week! Normally we just pick one Sister, but this group of six Sisters went above and beyond with the planning, dedication, and overall vision of the event and all are worthy of this deserving title. Ribbons, with all proceeds going to an amazing cause, Sharsheret, went off without a hitch and put together a remarkable event. This group of girls represented our sisterhood beautifully and we are so thankful for that. Congratulations to Hope Kauffman, Mykah Murphy, Jenna Greenberg, Abby Peel, Marissa Lasoff, and Brianna Baxter! Way to go, girls! Ribbons was amazing. LML |
